Our Telekom is pleased to announce that Taro and Noro are now on the submarine fibre optic cable. This means Telekom subscribers in Gizo, Munda, Noro and all 3G mobile sites in Western province are now on submarine fibre optic cable, including Taro in Choiseul province.
We are monitoring the performance and have conducted several tests successfully in January 2020.
In the meantime Honiara, Guadalcanal and Malaita are already on Submarine Fibre Optic cable. The network is taking traffic well and everything is looking good and stable.
