Network Upgrade Update: Rove Tower Works Underway

Our Telekom is pleased to provide a progress update on our ongoing network enhancement programme across Honiara. The first upgrade activity in this new phase has commenced at the Rove tower, where our technical team is currently installing new capacity equipment aimed at improving overall 4G/LTE performance in the area.

These works are part of our continuous investment to strengthen mobile connectivity in high-usage zones. Once the upgrade is completed, customers in and around Rove can expect:

  • Stronger and more stable connectivity

  • Improved data speeds

  • A more consistent experience during peak hours

Our teams are working diligently to ensure these improvements are delivered efficiently and safely, with minimal impact to customers. This upgrade marks the beginning of a series of enhancements scheduled for other key sites in Honiara over the coming weeks.
