Our Telekom to Transform Digital Experience with Oracle

Honiara, Solomon Islands – April 25, 2025 - Our Telekom has officially selected Oracle to drive a significant end-to-end, digital transformation initiative. Utilising Oracle Communications technology, Our Telekom aims to digitise customer engagement and accelerate time-to-market for new products and services across the Solomon Islands.
Our Telekom chose Oracle to help strengthen its digital infrastructure, enhance customer experiences, and unlock new customer offerings. Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and shareholder value, Our Telekom believes this is the pathway to a comprehensive digital transformation journey that will redefine how it engages with customers. This initiative spans the entire customer lifecycle—from service registration and provisioning to digitally coordinated service delivery—with real-time notifications and support through self-care portals and live digital interactions.
“Utilising Oracle Communications marks a significant milestone for Our Telekom,” said Christina Lasaqa, Chief Executive Officer, Our Telekom. “Oracle’s global reputation for delivering innovative and reliable technology solutions, coupled with their robust ecosystem built on best practices, positions us to significantly enhance our internal systems and service delivery.
This initiative is not just a technology upgrade—it’s a catalyst for transformation. It empowers us to develop solutions tailored to evolving customer demands, boost operational efficiency, and accelerate our journey towards full digitalisation. Most importantly, it reflects our ongoing commitment to providing the people of Solomon Islands with the exceptional digital experiences they rightfully deserve. The future ahead with Oracle is truly exciting.”
The transformation will see Our Telekom implement Oracle Cloud Scale Billing and Oracle Unified Operations—solutions that bring together advanced monetization and service fulfilment on a communications-grade platform.
The project will be executed and supported in close collaboration with Oracle Customer Solutions for Industry, a global leader in telecommunications transformation professional services. Leveraging their powerful consulting toolkit, knowledge, and experience will help Our Telekom hit goals and deliver quality service to its end-customers.
“As service providers face increasing competition and disruption, they’re turning to scalable, digital platforms that deliver value across the entire customer lifecycle,” said Andrew Morawski, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Oracle Communications. “Innovative operators like Our Telekom are leading the way in creating connected digital experiences from service delivery to business operations utilising advanced automation.”
By selecting Oracle, Our Telekom reinforces its commitment to transforming the digital experience for its customers and contributing to the economic and social development of the Solomon Islands.
