If you are on 4G network please follow these best practices to avoid credit deductions.
- Switch your mobile network to 2G or 3G when doing your topups before subscribing to giga plans.
- When or before you receive 100mb notification please refill data immediately or switch to 3G to continue to access internet until you are able to recharge your balance and buy new giga plans.
- When not using internet, keep network mode on call and sms networks; 2G/3G.
By performing these best practices you won’t be experiencing credits being used for internet on faster 4G network.
The reason being 4G network is a highspeed internet network that is always “on” even when the data switch is turned off. 4G network reserves 2MB or an equivalent amount to avoid negative balance.
